The Library & Mystery Reader Day
With the principles of Recreational and Instructional Reading, we use two types of reading materials to support our Reading Scheme, including fiction and non-fiction books related to a wide range of topics for leisure reading and guided level readers for instructional reading. Reading materials are categorized into 15 levels catering to different learning needs and reading skills of children with parents. Our Mystery Reader Program will introduce students to different books and stories with different people. On every Tuesday, we will arrange a special guest, as a surprise, to visit our students and conduct a fun reading activity. The special guest could be a teacher from another class, one of the teachers or students from our primary section, guest or a parent.
Fun Activity Day with Moral Education & Weekly Review
Students will review the content of the week through fun activities. They will be separated into small groups and engaged in review activities to strengthen particular areas of learning in order to meet students’ individual needs. Teachers will also share a moral value related to the theme through story-telling, songs, and different activities in order to “wrap-up” the week.

School vision and mission
|
“Based on Virtue, In Pursuit of Excellence” is the motto of St. Hilary’s. Since established in 2015, we have been serving the young generation of Hong Kong with quality and innovative education. Through putting our motto into practice, we have also been making efforts to build our “through-train” education system from nursery & kindergarten to secondary school. We are determined to nurture students to enable them to become our knowledgeable future leaders with virtues, talents and international mindedness.
|
Support to students
|
After-school SH Leadership Training Program will be offered to Lower and Upper KG Classes (K2-K3) to support students’ growth of primary schools’ requisite skills and knowledge.
Upper KG (K3) students will also be engaged in STEM and Coding activities with the STEM specialist teacher from our Primary Section on some of the Fridays.
